Drew and I wanted to try a new location and get out of the Mosquito Lagoon. We decided to head over to Cocoa, FL and try a location we’ve heard about in the forums called Thousand Islands.

Well, to make a long story short it ended up being a long day with no fish. We ended up finding this really cool creek we paddled and climbed through that lead us to an area I’m sure not too many have seen before, but there didn’t seem to be any fish anywhere except one flounder we scared off pretty quickly.

Overall it was a pretty exciting day even though there were no fish. Drew and Javi decided it was time to cool down and get wet as soon as they found a rope swing over the water.

I’m looking forward to heading back to Thousand Islands again. Hopefully we’ll find some fish when that time comes!
